Because who even needs passwords anymore, right? It’s not like hackers are drooling psychos waiting for everyone to screw up their security settings.

Basically, instead of typing in your sacred, probably reused dog’s-name-plus-69 password, now you can rely on “passkeys.” These magical digital fairy keys tie your WhatsApp backup to your stupid phone’s biometrics – Face ID, fingerprints, or that gesture you perform when you realize your data’s already leaked to the dark web. The idea is that you can sign back into your cloud backups without that annoying encryption password that half of you already forgot. Great for convenience, terrible for anyone who thinks “security” actually still means something.

Because fuck it, right? Safety is for someone else’s problem.
