Another Goddamn Power Struggle in AI Land
Well, well, well. Yet *another* group of corporate crybabies tried to stop states from regulating AI—and surprise, the whole damn stunt fell flat on its face. Apparently, Big Tech thought they could flex their billions to shut down local lawmakers poking their noses into the “AI Wild West.” Spoiler alert: judges weren’t having any of that bullshit.
So, here’s the kicker: a bunch of states want to slap some rules on the AI circus before it drives us all into a digital apocalypse, but these corporate meatbags are whining that it’ll make “innovation” harder. Yeah, because clearly, “innovation” means scraping everyone’s data, firing half the workforce, and hiding behind algorithms that no one understands. What a load of flaming horseshit.
The courts basically said, “Nice try, assholes, but the law still applies to your shiny robot empire.” Of course, the ruling’s just another temporary barricade—Tech Bros are already refreshing their legal memos, ready to lob the next expensive-ass lawsuit at anyone daring to regulate their creepy chatbots. It’s like watching toddlers fight over who gets to control Skynet.
So yeah, the anti-regulation stunt’s toast—for now. But don’t celebrate too hard, because these bastards don’t give up easy. They’ll be back faster than your last firmware update screwed your computer. And when they are, bring popcorn and a helmet, because this shitshow is far from over.

Reminds me of the time some intern tried to “improve” my server scripts with AI-generated code — somehow managed to brick three production machines and rename every backup “final_fix_v2_for_real.zip.” When I asked what the hell happened, he said the model told him it was “best practice.” I told him to take that best practice and shove it straight up its algorithmic ass.
