Right, so the ex-president – yeah, *that* one – is flapping his gums about how AI models are “biased” because they won’t generate enough flattering bullshit about him. Apparently, reality isn’t to his liking, and instead of dealing with… well, reality, he wants some executive order forcing OpenAI and Google to rewrite their algorithms to stroke his ego. The whole thing is based on a report from his own task force whining that the AI doesn’t produce enough positive content about him when prompted. Like, *no shit*.

He’s threatening to slap regulations on open-source models too, because apparently letting people build their own stuff is unacceptable if it might not worship at the altar of Trump. The article points out this is a massive overreach and would probably kill innovation faster than you can say “deepfake.” It’ll also likely be legally challenged to hell and back, which honestly? Good. Let them waste money on that.

Basically, it’s a tantrum disguised as policy, fueled by narcissism and a complete misunderstanding of how AI actually works. And the worst part is people are taking this seriously. Fucking unbelievable.
