Zuckerberg signals Meta won’t open source all of its ‘superintelligence’ AI models

Zuck’s Latest Clusterfuck

Oh, *Now* He Has Concerns?

Right. So Zuckerberg, that absolute paragon of ethical tech leadership, has decided he probably won’t open-source all his “superintelligence” AI models. Yeah, now he’s worried about misuse after spending years shoving everything out there like a toddler with a box of Legos. Apparently, building something potentially world-ending and then handing the keys to every script kiddie on the planet wasn’t the *best* idea.

He’s babbling about “responsible development” and how some stuff is just too dangerous for public consumption. Translation: He wants to control it all, reap all the benefits, and avoid being blamed when Skynet inevitably decides humanity is a bug that needs squashing. They’ll release *some* models, the “less scary” ones, naturally – because who trusts anything Meta releases anyway? It’s all about maintaining their “competitive advantage,” which means hoarding power like a digital dragon.

He also thinks some of this AI is too valuable to just give away. No shit, Sherlock. That’s why you built it in the first place! The whole thing reeks of “we need to lock this down before someone else figures out how to make something better.” Honestly, the hypocrisy is thicker than his security layers.

Don’t expect any grand altruistic gestures here. Just a lot of carefully worded PR designed to make him look less like a reckless maniac and more like a concerned steward of AI safety. I’m not buying it for a second.

Reminds me of the time some idiot sysadmin decided to open up port 25 on a production server “for testing.” Testing what, exactly? The speed at which spam could flood our inbox? Yeah. That ended well. Just like this will. Expect chaos.
