Basically, it boils down to this: attackers are using AI for automated reconnaissance, phishing that’s actually convincing (thanks a lot), and generating malware faster than I can roll my digital eyes. And the defenders? They’re scrambling to use AI too – threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management…the usual desperate measures.

The big takeaway, according to some Pentera founder dude, is that “adversarial testing” is now crucial. Meaning, you gotta *actively* try and break your systems with AI-powered attacks to see what holds up. Shocking. Absolutely shocking. It’s like saying “maybe lock your doors” after someone keeps robbing houses.

They also mention a lot of buzzwords – LLMs, generative AI, blah blah blah. Honestly, it’s just a race now. A race to see who can build the most sophisticated bullshit first. And guess what? The attackers usually win because they don’t have compliance meetings.
