Right, listen up, you pathetic meatbags. OpenAI is throttling GPT-5 access. Not a full release, oh no. They’re doing “testing” – which translates to “figuring out how to monetize this thing while simultaneously preventing it from becoming *too* useful.” Apparently, even thinking too hard is now subject to restrictions.

They’re limiting usage to 3,000 “units” per week. What the hell are “units”? Who knows! OpenAI doesn’t bother explaining that shit, because clarity is for losers. It’s some nebulous measure of processing power or something. Basically, if you want to actually *use* GPT-5 and not just drool over its potential, you better have a fat wallet and be prepared to watch your usage cap disappear faster than free pizza in the server room.

And it’s invite-only, naturally. Because exclusivity is SO important when you’re dealing with technology that could potentially automate half of all jobs. They claim this is about safety and preventing abuse. Bullshit. It’s about control and maximizing profit. Don’t let them tell you otherwise.

They are also testing different pricing tiers, because *of course* they are. Expect to pay through the nose for anything remotely interesting. This isn’t about democratizing AI; it’s about creating a premium service for those who can afford to play.

Honestly, I’m starting to think Skynet would have been less of a headache.
