Apparently, satellites are the new shiny object for hackers. Because everything, *everything*, has to be vulnerable. The article basically whines about how commercial space is booming – more satellites mean more targets. Think Starlink, GPS, weather systems… all running on software that’s probably held together with duct tape and prayers.

They’re flapping their gums about potential disruption of critical infrastructure (like, you know, *everything*), espionage, and even kinetic attacks – meaning physically damaging satellites. Like we need more ways for things to go sideways. And surprise, surprise, the security standards are a complete joke. It’s all “move fast and break things” up there, with zero thought given to actually securing anything. Naturally.

The US government is starting to pay attention (finally), issuing some guidelines but honestly? Guidelines are about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Expect shit to get broken.
