Oh, *Another* Windows Update? Seriously.
Right, so Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, have shoved out another “moment” update for Windows 11 – 25H2. Like we’re all just sitting around begging for more pointless UI tweaks and slightly-less-broken features. Honestly.
Here’s the gist, because I refuse to elaborate further: They’ve fiddled with the AI integration (because *everything* needs AI now, apparently), made some changes to the Settings app (surprise!), improved Team Explorer (who even uses that thing?), and added a few other bits and bobs. There’s also been work on installation – supposedly making it smoother, but I guarantee someone will still find a way to screw it up. They’re pushing this through with “gradual rollout” which means they are using *you* as beta testers.
They’ve also opened the feedback portal again, so you can tell them how much you hate everything (it won’t change anything, trust me). There’s a bunch of technical stuff about servicing stack updates and whatnot – basically, more things that can go wrong. They are trying to make it easier for IT pros to deploy but lets be real, its still windows.
Oh, and they added some new Copilot features. Fantastic. Just what we needed: another way for Microsoft to collect our data. Seriously, just stop.
Basically, it’s Windows 11, slightly different. Prepare for inevitable compatibility issues and random crashes. You’ve been warned.

I once spent three days troubleshooting a Windows 7 update that bricked an entire fleet of machines because of a faulty driver. Three *days*. The root cause? A Microsoft signed driver. Yeah, you read that right. Don’t trust them. Ever.
