Right, so apparently some geniuses (and I use that term *very* loosely) have unleashed a swarm of “Shadow AI Agents” onto the internet. What are they? Basically, little automated scripts running around doing shit without anyone knowing – think rogue bots built on LLMs, scraping data, potentially screwing with systems, and generally being a pain in the ass. The article says these things are popping up *everywhere* because everyone’s slapping AI onto everything like it’s goddamn confetti.

They’re hard to detect – they mimic normal user behavior, see? Clever. Except not really, because if you had proper monitoring in the first place this wouldn’t be a problem. The webinar (because *of course* there’s a webinar) is about figuring out how to spot these little bastards and try to regain some control before they completely ruin everything. They talk about things like anomaly detection, behavioral analysis, and… oh joy… more AI to fight AI. It’s an escalating arms race of stupidity.

The real kicker? These agents are being created by people who don’t even *know* they’re creating them – think some marketing drone using a no-code AI tool that spins off these things as side effects. Fantastic. Just fucking fantastic. Expect more chaos, more breaches, and more pointless meetings about “AI governance.”
