Seriously, More Windows Updates?!
Right, listen up. Microsoft’s shoved out *another* pair of cumulative updates for Windows 11 – KB5065426 and KB5065431. Because apparently, things weren’t buggy enough already. They claim it fixes a bunch of crap, mostly related to printing (surprise, surprise), Qualcomm connectivity issues, and some other nonsense about voice input. Oh, and they’ve “improved” the security stuff, which means they probably broke something else in the process.
Version 21H2 gets KB5065426, while Version 22H2 gets KB5065431. If you’re on an older version, good luck; you’ll need to upgrade *then* install this garbage. They also mention some fixes for the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) – because who doesn’t love a broken recovery system? Seriously, they are just throwing patches at problems instead of fixing the core issues.
And as always, there’s the usual “known issues” disclaimer which basically translates to: “We haven’t tested this properly, so expect things to go sideways.” Install at your own risk. I mean, what choice do you *really* have? They’ll force it on you eventually anyway.

Look, I once had to roll back a Windows update on a server farm at 3 AM because it bricked the network adapters. Three. A. M. Do you know what that does to a perfectly good night of sleep? It makes me want to rewrite the entire operating system in BASIC just to spite Bill Gates. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
