Right. So, apparently some morons at SonicWall haven’t learned their lesson. Another goddamn vulnerability in their SSL VPN products – specifically, versions 6.10 and earlier. This isn’t even new, it was reported back in January but guess what? Akira ransomware hackers are actively exploiting this shitshow *right now*. They’re using it to get initial access to networks, then deploying ransomware because, you know, security by obscurity is a perfectly valid strategy.

The problem? A heap overflow vulnerability. Meaning some idiot didn’t properly handle input and now attackers can run code on your system.
