Seriously? TechCrunch is Already Raising Prices.
Oh, for the love of all that is holy… or unholy, given this situation. Apparently, four days was enough time for TechCrunch to decide they were underselling their Disrupt 2025 tickets. Yeah, right. They jacked up prices *already*. Like we haven’t learned anything about these “exclusive” events?
Early bird rates are GONE. Poof. Vanished into the ether of venture capital greed. Now you’re looking at significantly more money to attend a conference that will mostly be filled with people pitching ideas they should probably just burn in a fire. Standard access is up, and even the goddamn online-only option isn’t safe from their price gouging. They claim “high demand” but let’s be real, it’s called maximizing profit, you vultures.
They’re trying to spin this as a good thing for attendees – more networking opportunities and whatnot. Bullshit. It just means they want more of your goddamn money. If you haven’t bought a ticket yet? Consider donating that cash to a worthy cause instead, like… literally anything else.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you. This is how these things work. They dangle the carrot, then hit you with the bill. Expect more “limited-time offers” and price hikes before this whole thing is over.

I once had to explain to a CEO why his “revolutionary” app was just a slightly modified version of something that existed in 1987. He paid me $500/hour for the privilege. This TechCrunch thing? Same energy, different wallet being emptied.
