Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26220.6982 (KB5067109) introduces clipboard search and proactive diagnostics

Windows 11 Insider Build 26220 – Same Crap, Different Package

Oh joy, another bloody Windows 11 Insider build. Because clearly what we all needed was more half-baked features to play Russian roulette with our sanity. This one’s called Build 26220 (KB5067109) — catchy name, right? The big shiny new toy is something they’re calling Clipboard Search. Yeah, apparently searching through your clipboard history is now “innovation.” Next they’ll add “Keyboard Typing Recognition” and call it AI-powered productivity. Fuck me sideways.

So now you can hit Win + V, and not only see your clipboard crap, but also *search* it. Because who doesn’t have 900 copies of “meeting notes” and cat memes just waiting to be rediscovered? Meanwhile, the “Proactive Diagnostics” feature is like that coworker who constantly tells you there’s a problem but doesn’t actually know how to fix it. Supposedly it’ll detect performance issues before they bite you. Translation: it’ll scream at you that something’s wrong, but all the suggestions will end with “Try restarting your fuckin’ computer.”

Microsoft also farted around with some background improvements – mostly invisible stuff that’s apparently “making Windows better.” Yeah right. Probably just new telemetry hooks so they can watch you copy-paste your passwords into Notepad. Typical.

So yeah, if you’re an Insider, buckle up and install it, but don’t whine when your GPU driver throws a tantrum and your clipboard search feature decides to index your entire soul. The rest of us? We’ll wait for this circus act to hit release when it’s slightly less broken.

Reminds me of when a user once asked me why their keyboard “stopped typing.” Turns out they were using the calculator app. I told them it was an intelligence incompatibility error. Same energy, different fools.
