Google and Ambani Join Forces To Shove ‘Free AI Pro’ Down Everyone’s Throats
Oh for fuck’s sake, here we go again — another bloody “partnership” where two tech behemoths pat each other on the back and pretend they’re doing humanity a favor. This time it’s Google teaming up with Reliance bloody Jio — yes, the Ambani empire that owns half of India — to “democratize” AI. Translation: flood millions of users with Google’s shiny new AI Pro thingy, presumably so they can harvest more data than a paranoid surveillance state on caffeine.
So the pitch goes: Jio users get free access to Google’s AI Pro features, because who doesn’t love “free”? But let’s not kid ourselves, “free” here is just tech-speak for “we’re gonna make you our analytics guinea pigs while shoving ads, prompts, and maybe a sneaky subscription down your digital throat later.” And naturally, Sundar Pichai and Mukesh Ambani are beaming like they’ve just cured world hunger, when in reality they’ve just figured out how to squeeze another trillion bytes of personal data out of everyone with a SIM card.
Oh, and of course they’re yapping about “AI inclusion” and “empowering India.” Bollocks. What they’re empowering is their bottom line. You think billionaires give a rat’s arse about inclusion? Please. This is a glorified business move in a developer-friendly disguise, timed perfectly so they can brag at the next corporate summit about “bringing AI to the masses.” If I had a rupee for every time someone launched a “revolutionary” AI product for “everyone,” I’d have enough to buy Google and unplug their bloody servers myself.
Anyway, be ready for every Jio user to start barking AI-generated nonsense on chat apps soon, all courtesy of the new Google-Reliance dynamic duo. Because clearly, what this world lacked was *more AI crap that can’t tell sarcasm from sincerity.*
