Microsoft’s Latest F***up: 365 License Checks Go Full Potato
So, in today’s episode of “Microsoft can’t code their way out of a paper bag,” the geniuses in Redmond have managed to break their own damn software again. This time, some bug in Microsoft 365’s license checks is throwing a tantrum, leaving perfectly-paying office slaves unable to download desktop apps. That’s right — even users with legit, squeaky-clean licenses are getting blocked like freeloaders at an internet café. Bloody magnificent.
Apparently, some half-baked glitch in the license validation system decided that everyone’s subscription was suddenly invalid. Because why not? Microsoft’s servers probably woke up and chose violence. So, instead of working, users get spammed with “You’re not licensed” errors — the corporate equivalent of “Go f*** yourself.”
The carnage is widespread. Admins are losing their minds, users are whining, and Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, are “investigating the issue.” Translation: some poor bastard in Redmond is sacrificing sleep, sanity, and probably a few internal servers trying to duct-tape this digital diarrhea back together while middle management drafts a “We’re sorry” tweet.
The best part? Microsoft hasn’t said when they’ll fix it. Classic. Same company that can’t make a printer driver install properly, yet somehow wants to strap AI into every damn corner of Windows. Yeah, that’ll end well.

Reminds me of the time I told a user their password expired because the system said so — even though it hadn’t. They argued for an hour before realizing they were typing their username in the password box. Sometimes I think bugs are just Microsoft’s way of making us feel better about humanity’s stupidity.
