Windows 10 Won’t Die — Microsoft’s Latest Magical Patch of Pain (KB5075912)

Oh, for fuck’s sake, Microsoft is at it again, squeezing the last drops of life (and probably cash) out of Windows 10. In their glorious generosity, they’ve released KB5075912 — an “Extended Security Update” patch for poor bastards stuck on versions 21H2 and 22H2. Basically, if you’re still clinging to this digital fossil, this update is supposed to keep your system from spontaneously combusting when some new exploit crawls out of the internet swamp.

Apparently, this is all part of their ESU program — you know, the one that makes you pay through the nose to keep a decade-old OS “secure” while they keep mumbling about Windows 11 like it’s the second coming of Christ. The update allegedly addresses some “security improvements” and some “miscellaneous tweaks.” Read: it plugs the gaping holes caused by the last joke of a patch they shoved out the door.

Oh, and don’t think you can just waltz into Windows Update and grab it if you’re not in the magical “Extended Support Club.” Nope, you’ve got to jump through Microsoft’s flaming hoops — E3 licenses, Azure subscriptions, and probably a blood sacrifice to Clippy himself — before you can even sniff this patch.

So yeah, KB5075912 — another glorious reminder that Microsoft would rather sell you extended life support for your ancient OS than make something that doesn’t need constant CPR. Bravo, Redmond. You magnificent bastards.
