ZeroDayRAT – Because Apparently Your Phone Needed Even More Ways to Fuck You Over

So, some delightful cyber-bastards have cooked up a new steaming pile of malware called ZeroDayRAT, and guess what? It’ll happily screw your phone—Android or iOS—like it owes it money. Yeah, that’s right, cross-platform misery is now the trend. It infects your precious little rectangle of doom, gives hackers full access to all your crap, and then sits there doing god-knows-what while you’re doomscrolling through cat videos and pretending your battery isn’t dying faster than your will to live.

Researchers found this lovely bit of code floating around pretending to be something innocent—apps or updates you probably didn’t even think twice about. But underneath? It’s a full-blown control freak. Once it moves in, it’s got keylogging, screen recording, file theft, command execution—the whole “I own your shit” package. Basically, if your phone were a hotel, this bastard would be the drunk guy in the lobby pissing on your carpet and stealing all your minibar snacks.

And if you thought “Apple’s safe,” ha! Cute. The rat infestation doesn’t care whether you’re Team Android or Team iPhone—it’s equal-opportunity fuckery. Security researchers say it’s connected to the ZeroFive threat group, who apparently decided that respecting people’s privacy is optional. Great. Just what we needed.
