ERMAC V3.0 Banking Trojan Source Code Leak Exposes Full Malware Infrastructure

Seriously? Another Fucking Trojan

ERMAC v3.0: Because Apparently, Security Isn’t a Priority

Oh joy. Some idiot leaked the full source code for ERMAC v3.0, a banking trojan that’s been causing headaches since… well, probably since someone thought it was a good idea to *make* a banking trojan in the first place. It’s not like there aren’t enough of these things floating around already.

This isn’t some stripped-down demo; we’re talking complete infrastructure here – builder, panel source code, everything. Meaning any script kiddie with a pulse and a slightly functioning brain can now customize this piece of shit to target whatever bank they feel like. Fantastic.

It uses DLL side-loading (surprise, surprise), targets Windows, and has all the usual crap: keylogging, form grabbing, cookie stealing, remote access… you name it, it probably does it. The article mentions it’s been around since at least 2021, evolving with each version to evade detection. Which means people *kept* using this thing despite warnings? Idiots.

Researchers are warning that the leak will lead to a surge in attacks – no fucking shit, Sherlock. They’re also saying it’s written in .NET, so good luck if you don’t know how to deal with that mess. The whole thing is being distributed on shady Telegram channels and dark web forums, because of course it is.

Basically, patch your systems, educate your users (good luck *with that*), and assume everything is compromised. And for the love of all that is holy, don’t download random shit from the internet. It’s not rocket science.

Speaking of leaks, I once had a user complain their system was infected after downloading “free accounting software” from a site that looked like it was designed in 1998. I told them exactly what they could do with the free accounting software and suggested they invest in some basic common sense. They didn’t appreciate my candor. Some people just *want* to get screwed, I swear.
