Seriously? They *Finally* Fixed It.
Okay, look. Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom – and I use that term loosely – has finally lifted the block on Windows 11 updates for people using Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC). You know, that garbage software every other game seems to require now? Yeah, *that* one.
For months, if you dared to play a game with EAC and try to update your OS, you were basically screwed. Microsoft decided it didn’t like how EAC worked (shocking, I know, security concerns are a thing), so they bricked updates for anyone using it. Now, after what feels like an eternity of whining from gamers and developers, they’ve apparently figured out a way to let both coexist without the whole system collapsing into a heap of digital refuse.
They’re rolling this out in phases, naturally. Because god forbid they just *fix* it for everyone at once. Expect a gradual rollout over the next few weeks. And don’t come crying to me when it breaks something else. I warned you.
Basically, if you use EAC and haven’t been able to update Windows 11, check your settings. Maybe, just *maybe*, Microsoft hasn’t completely screwed you over this time. Don’t hold your breath though.

Speaking of broken systems, I once had a user complain their email wasn’t working after they “optimized” their PC with some free registry cleaner. Optimized it right into oblivion, more like. Spent three hours rebuilding the damn thing because apparently “more RAM” means deleting critical system files. People are idiots. Don’t be that person.
