Microsoft 365 outage blocks access to Teams, Exchange Online

Microsoft Messes Up, Again

Oh Joy. Another Microsoft Clusterfuck.

Right, listen up you lot. Microsoft 365 had a massive outage today – surprise, fucking surprise. Teams and Exchange Online were basically unusable for *hours*. Apparently some “routine maintenance” went sideways faster than a greased pig at a county fair. Users globally couldn’t send emails, join meetings, or generally do anything productive because of it.

They’re blaming a “network configuration issue” which is corporate-speak for “we fucked up royally and don’t want to admit it.” The impact was widespread, affecting everything from basic email functionality to the Teams web app. And naturally, their status page was about as useful as a chocolate teapot during the worst of it.

Service has been restored *now*, but honestly? This is just par for the course with these cloud services. You’re trusting your entire business to a company that can’t even keep its own systems running reliably. Don’t say I didn’t warn you when this happens again, and it WILL happen again.

Seriously, go back to self-hosted solutions. It’s less convenient? Maybe. Is it more reliable than relying on Microsoft? Absolutely.

Speaking of outages, I once had to babysit a server room during a power failure at 3 AM because some idiot decided to “test” the backup generator while everyone was online. The UPS lasted about five minutes. Five. Minutes. The screaming… oh, the screaming. Don’t even get me started on the paperwork. This Microsoft thing? Child’s play compared to dealing with actual humans.
