The Man Who Handcrafts AI Slop – What the Actual Hell
Right, so there’s this Chinese artist bloke who apparently looked at the tsunami of soulless, brain-melting AI-generated crap flooding the internet and thought, “Yeah, I’ll just *manually recreate* that garbage.” Because clearly, the world didn’t have enough digital diarrhea already. This mad genius painstakingly imitates the blocky, lifeless “AI aesthetic” — the kind where human faces melt like cheap wax and hands multiply like some Lovecraftian fever dream — but does it *by hand*. Yeah. By. Freaking. Hand.
He’s basically trolling the entire goddamn system, poking fun at how everyone’s racing to outsource imagination to algorithms. While the rest of the world’s busy training AI to spit out meaningless “content,” this guy’s sitting there turning that same void-staring stupidity into *actual art*. It’s performance art disguised as idiocy, or maybe idiocy disguised as performance art — either way, it’s bloody brilliant and absolutely infuriating.
Of course, the geniuses on social media can’t decide whether he’s mocking the AI apocalypse or worshipping it, which is the exact kind of existential confusion that fuels the modern internet. Meanwhile, the rest of us are just trying to tell the difference between some glitchy Midjourney nightmare and this dude’s intentionally crappy masterpiece. Spoiler: it’s impossible. Everything looks the same now. Welcome to hell.
So yeah, hats off to the lunatic painting “AI slop” by hand. Humanity has truly peaked. We’ve come full circle — people are now imitating machines imitating people who’ve already given up. F***ing poetic.

Reminds me of the time some genius user asked me to hand-code a neural net. With Excel. Using formulas. I told him I’d rather jam a USB stick into my eye socket. He didn’t laugh. Probably an AI.
