Active Exploits Hit Dassault and XWiki – Because Apparently No One Patches Their Bloody Systems
Well, strap in, because the IT apocalypse is having another grand f***ing day. According to this delightful piece of news, cyber scumbags are actively exploiting fresh-off-the-press vulnerabilities in software from Dassault Systèmes and XWiki. Yeah, those shiny names you see in enterprise environments building “secure” fancy digital crap – now thoroughly f***ed over. Bravo.
So here’s the gory mess: both companies got hit with critical bugs, and CISA – bless their eternally overloaded souls – confirmed that attackers are already having a field day exploiting these holes in the wild. Dassault’s ENOVIA smarTeam crap has some authentication bypass stupidity, and XWiki decided to serve up a Remote Code Execution platter to attackers. Because why not? Let’s just hand over the shell keys and make it easy for the bastards.
It’s the same story as always – “critical flaw,” “patch available,” “no one gives a f*** until production falls over.” Cue the panic patching, the management emergency Zoom calls, and the “we’re taking this seriously” PR statements while some ransomware group laughs their asses off counting crypto in Siberia.
Meanwhile, CISA has lobbed these vulnerabilities straight onto their “Known Exploited Shit-List” (or the KEV catalog, if you’re into acronyms). Translation: patch your damn systems NOW, or enjoy your data being turned into hacker confetti. You’ve been warned – not that it’ll make any bloody difference to the idiots who still think security updates are optional.
Moral of the story? Same as it’s always been – patch the damned things BEFORE you end up on The Hacker News next week as “another dumb bastard who got owned.”

Reminds me of the time I told a dev to update Apache before lunch. He didn’t. By 2 PM, his server was spewing spam for a Viagra site. He learned, briefly. Then did it again next quarter. Some folks only learn when the fire burns… and even then, they keep matches handy.
