So here we go: GISEC Global 2026 is lining up all the usual suspects – security “leaders,” “innovators,” “visionaries,” and a terrifying number of buzzword merchants drooling over crypto, cloud, and AI. Everyone’s there to flog their products, get drunk on free coffee, and pretend they’re saving the digital world – while ransomware spreads faster than gossip in a sysadmin chat.

They’re promising cutting-edge talks, panels full of self-congratulatory experts, and “exclusive insights” – which is marketing code for “stuff you could’ve Googled in five minutes.” You’ll get the standard cocktail of fear-mongering, PowerPoint slides, and a few execs trying to sound cyber-literate before they go back to clicking phishing links.

Still, if you’re into schmoozing with vendors, collecting free swag, and practicing your fake-smile game while someone explains “zero trust” for the fiftieth time, this one’s for you. See you in Dubai, probably right next to the overpriced coffee stand.
