Microsoft Breaks Outlook for iOS — Again. Because Why the Hell Not?
Well, what a magnificent clusterfuck from the fine folks at Microsoft. Turns out, Outlook for iOS decided to go belly up — freezing, crashing, and generally behaving like it’s possessed by the ghost of Windows Vista. The culprit? A bloody coding error. Yes, you read that right — someone at Microsoft apparently fell asleep face-first on their keyboard and shipped the goddamn thing anyway.
So now, innocent email peasants everywhere can’t open their bloody inbox without the app taking a dump mid-launch. Microsoft, being the paragon of reliability that it is, scrambled to slap some duct tape on it. The “fix” (if you can call it that) involves updating to the latest app version or reinstalling it — because nothing screams “professional company” like “try turning it off and on again.”
The broken bit was rolled out with a recent update that apparently didn’t go through proper testing — because who the hell needs testing when you can just dump broken code into production and let millions of users find your screw-ups for you? Typical bloody Microsoft move.
Anyway, after enough people screamed on social media, they pushed out a patched version that supposedly fixes the fuck-up. So if your app’s been doing its best impression of a brick, head to the App Store and update it — and pray to whatever digital gods you believe in that it doesn’t decide to implode again tomorrow.

Reminds me of the time I fat-fingered a cron job that wiped out a manager’s “critical” spreadsheet server. He wanted to know how it happened — I told him the server committed suicide after reading his formulas. He didn’t laugh. I did.
