Apparently, we need “smarter detection” because our current “smart detection” is about as useful as a chocolate firewall in a heatwave. They yammer about **AI‑powered security analytics**, pretending that algorithms are going to magically notice when Bob from accounting is actually a ransomware bot. Spoiler: they fucking won’t — unless Bob forgets to bring donuts again, then we’ll notice real quick.

Then there’s the **automation** craze — let’s just trust scripts to do what overworked humans can’t. Because nothing screams stability like a self‑propagating patch system that decides half your infrastructure isn’t worth keeping. Add in **Zero Trust** (because apparently trusting anything has become an act of heresy), and you’ve got the perfect stew of paranoia and vendor lock‑in. Lovely.
