Because apparently, we needed machine learning to help criminals maintain persistent access to networks. Like these cyber-wankers needed any more help staying inside your systems after you’ve already fucked up the patching schedule for the third consecutive quarter.

Slopoly. Sounds like a board game for people who enjoy watching paint dry while their infrastructure burns. Except instead of collecting $200 when you pass Go, these shitheads are encrypting your SharePoint and demanding Bitcoin. And now it’s “AI-assisted,” which means it can probably learn your network topology faster than you can figure out where the coffee machine is.

The persistent access component is the real kick in the teeth here. While you’re busy resetting passwords and telling the CEO that “no, we can’t just turn it off and on again,” this digital hemorrhoid is using AI to adapt, evade detection, and probably write better code than your entire dev team.
