GITEX GLOBAL 2025: Oh Joy. Another Fucking Conference.

Right, so some people are planning a tech show in Dubai next year – GITEX GLOBAL 2025. Apparently it’s going to be HUGE. Like, REALLY huge. They’re talking about AI *everywhere*, cybersecurity (because someone finally noticed that everything is falling apart), and sustainability (as if throwing more gadgets at the problem will fix anything). Expect a lot of pointless buzzwords like “hyperautomation”, “metaverse” (still?! Seriously?), and “Web3” – whatever the hell that is.

They’re promising a ton of startups, investors, and government types all trying to flog their wares or get funding for something utterly useless. There’s going to be a whole section dedicated to “AI in everything” which means a lot of snake oil salesmen peddling glorified spreadsheets with “machine learning” slapped on the side. And naturally, there’ll be endless panels about how AI is going to save the world while simultaneously destroying all our jobs.

Basically, it’s another massive exercise in self-congratulation for the tech industry and a waste of perfectly good oxygen. If you enjoy crowds, overpriced coffee, and being told what you *should* be excited about, then knock yourself out. I’ll be here, quietly judging.

Oh, and they’re going to have some fancy awards thing too. Because everyone needs a participation trophy these days.
