These clowns are impersonating IT helpdesk staff on Microsoft Teams—because of course they are—and tricking users into handing over access like it’s fucking candy.

The scam is painfully familiar. A message pops up on Teams, pretending to be “Helpful IT Guy™,” warning users about some bullshit account issue. The victim, already beaten down by corporate life, does what they’re told and clicks the thing, runs the tool, or approves access. Boom. The attackers are in, deploying the SNOW malware like it’s just another routine software update. Spoiler: it’s not. It’s a backdoor, and now your system is screwed.

The beauty—if you can call this shit beautiful—is that it abuses legitimate Microsoft Teams features. No exotic zero-days, no Hollywood hacking nonsense.
