Seriously? Microsoft Kills *Another* App.
Oh, joy. More Microsoft “innovation.” They’re sunsetting Microsoft Lens – that PDF scanner app for iOS and Android – on September 1st. Apparently, they decided it’s just not worth the effort anymore. Instead of actually improving it, they’re shoving everyone over to the goddamn Office app. Because *that* wasn’t bloated enough already.
If you’ve got data in Lens, better get it out now because after September 1st, it’s gone. They claim features are moving into Office, but let’s be real – it’ll probably be buried under a mountain of useless crap and harder to find than a decent tech support rep at Microsoft.
They’re offering refunds for any in-app purchases if you bothered with that nonsense. Wonderful. Like *that* makes up for the inconvenience. Honestly, this is just typical Microsoft bullshit. Build something, get people reliant on it, then yank it away and force them into another product. Fucking brilliant.
Don’t ask me why. Don’t even bother. It’s Microsoft. Logic doesn’t apply.

Speaking of apps they killed… remember Clippy? Yeah. Thought so. This is just another Clippy waiting to happen. I swear, if I had a nickel for every time Microsoft screwed something up… I’d be running my own server farm and wouldn’t *have* to deal with you people.
