Windows 11 23H2 Home and Pro reach end of support in November

Ugh, Windows 11 Support is Ending (Again)

Seriously? Another EOL Already?!

Right, listen up. Microsoft’s decided that Windows 11 versions 23H2 – both Home and Pro – are officially useless garbage come November 13th, 2024. That’s right, they’re pulling support. Meaning no more security updates. None. Zip. Nada.

If you haven’t upgraded yet (and frankly, why *would* you, it’s Microsoft), you’re basically inviting every script kiddie and their mother to have a field day with your system. They’re pushing everyone to 24H2, naturally. Because forcing upgrades is just so convenient for the user.

Enterprise versions get a slightly longer leash – until May 14th, 2025, but honestly? Don’t expect miracles. It’s all part of their grand plan to make you buy new shit constantly. And if you’re on IoT Enterprise? Forget about it, support ended *last* month. You’re already screwed.

So yeah, update your damn OS or prepare for a world of pain. Don’t come crying to me when you get ransomware because you were too lazy to click a button. I have better things to do than listen to your whining.

And another thing…

I once had to deal with a sysadmin who refused to patch his servers for *months*. Said it would “break things.” Guess what broke? Everything. After a particularly nasty exploit, of course. He then spent three days straight reinstalling from backups while I sat there enjoying a nice cup of coffee and judging him silently. Don’t be that guy.
