Lovable projects $1B in ARR within next 12 months

Lovable Projects: A Summary (Because I Have To)

Oh, *Great*. Another One.

Right, so some company called Lovable Projects – seriously, the name is nauseatingly optimistic – thinks it’s going to hit a billion dollars in ARR within the next twelve months. A BILLION. Apparently they build “low-code tools” for… wait for it… *customer support*. Like anyone actually needs more crap software clogging up their workflows.

They’ve raised $100 million, which means some idiot VCs threw money at this because “AI” is apparently a magic word now. They’re boasting about 350% growth and a bunch of fancy metrics that mean absolutely nothing in the real world. They claim to be different because they focus on “complex” support workflows. Yeah, well, *everything* is complex when you’re dealing with actual human beings.

The founder, Charlie Deligne, used to work at Zendesk (surprise, surprise) and thinks he can do it better. Everyone thinks they can do it better. It’s the first rule of startup club. They’ve got some big customers like Canva and Webflow apparently using their stuff. Fine. Good for them. Doesn’t mean it’ll last.

Basically, it’s another SaaS play riding the AI hype train. Expect a massive valuation followed by an inevitable down round when reality sets in. Don’t get your hopes up. Seriously. Just… don’t.

And a Story For Ya…

I once had to debug a system where the entire customer support workflow was built on Post-It notes. It was more reliable than 90% of the “AI-powered” solutions I’ve seen, and certainly less irritating. This Lovable Projects thing? Probably won’t be that.
