Anthropic launches code review tool to check flood of AI-generated code

Anthropic’s New Clusterfuck: Creating the Problem and Selling the Cure

Oh for fuck’s sake. Just when you thought the AI hype train couldn’t derail any harder, Anthropic decides to shit the bed publicly. These bastards spent years building Claude and other AI crap that vomits out code faster than a fresher after their first pint, and NOW they’ve suddenly realized that 90% of that AI-generated sludge is absolute fucking garbage that wouldn’t pass a code review if you held a cattle prod to the reviewer’s balls.

So what’s their genius solution? Launching yet ANOTHER fucking tool to check the code their own fucking AI creates. It’s like a protection racket – they sell you the gun, then sell you the kevlar vest when you realize you’ve shot yourself in the foot. The absolute audacity of these wankers to create a “code review tool” for AI-generated code when they’re the ones flooding repositories with uncommented, insecure, copy-pasted shite that looks like it was written by a caffeinated squirrel on meth.

You know what the real kicker is? Developers are eating this shit up. Lazy bastards who couldn’t be arsed to learn proper syntax are now copy-pasting AI slop into production systems, breaking everything, and then wondering why the entire codebase smells like digital diarrhea. And Anthropic’s answer isn’t “stop using our broken AI to write mission-critical systems” – oh no, it’s “buy more of our tools to check if the previous tool fucked up.” It’s fucking genius if you’re a con artist, and utter bollocks if you’re an actual engineer.

The flood of AI-generated code has turned GitHub into a fucking landfill, and now they want to sell you the hazmat suit. Fuck that noise. Learn to code, you pack of useless bastards.

Anecdote: Reminds me of the time I “accidentally” deleted the entire marketing department’s SharePoint site because they kept asking me to “just run a quick script” they found on some AI-generated blog. When they asked why everything was gone, I told them the AI code review tool flagged their existence as a critical vulnerability that needed purging from the git history. They didn’t get the joke, but then again, they were the kind of people who think HTML is a programming language and believe Caps Lock is cruise control for cool.
