Fortinet Screws the Pooch Again: Critical RCE Holes Everywhere

According to BleepingComputer, Fortinet is waving its arms and yelling “oh shit” about a set of critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerabilities in FortiSandbox and FortiAuthenticator. Yes, the very boxes meant to protect your network can now be used to burn it down from the inside. Fucking brilliant.
These flaws are bad. Like unauthenticated, internet-facing, attacker-gets-to-run-whatever-the-hell-they-want bad. We’re talking full system compromise — install malware, pivot inside the network, steal creds, the usual attacker bingo card. And all because some genius left the keys under the fucking doormat.
Fortinet says attackers could exploit these bugs by sending specially crafted requests to vulnerable services. Translation: if your shit is exposed and unpatched, congratulations, you’re now someone else’s infrastructure. The flaws impact multiple versions of FortiSandbox and FortiAuthenticator, and Fortinet is urgently telling admins to patch now. Not tomorrow. Not after change control. Now.
