Outlook for Mac Shits the Bed on Email Threads (Again)

You reply to an email like a normal, functioning adult, and Outlook goes: “Nah mate, new thread. Fresh start. Burn the history.” The result? Inbox chaos, broken conversations, and sysadmins everywhere grinding their teeth into powder.

The root cause, in classic Microsoft fashion, appears to be Outlook for Mac mangling or outright dropping the email headers that tell mail systems how threading works.
